Description

Heavy duty product for coupling a 2″ pole to a 1.5” pole (or to a Starlink).
The coupler is 12″ (30cm) long in total, and approx 5.75″ (145mm) of the end of each pole is supported, i.e. it is far stronger than the Starlink “pipe adapter”.
Metal is approx 3mm thick.
Hot dip galvanised.
Stainless bolts.

A long relatively light, but still rigid, pole can be obtained by using a longer section of 2″ pole and coupling a shorter length of slimmer 1.5″ pole to the top (think Eiffel Tower). This method can also avoid hefty freight carriage surcharges…..
A Starlink can then be securely clamped onto the 1.5″ pole using one of our 1.5″ pole couplers though it is not really suitable for the “High Performance” dish (because its lead cannot be routed down the inside of the pole).
Our WSXL  and WSXXL Starlink installation kits utilise this method. Both kits use a 4ft x 1.5″ top pole but installed on to a bottom pole of either 6ft (WSXL kit) or 10ft (WSXXL kit)

Alternatively the coupler also be used to securely fit a Starlink directly on to a 2″ pole.
Notes :
1 –The cable must be routed inside the pole. It is usually easier to feed the smaller of the Starlink cable’s plugs through the coupler.
2 – The coupler’s two bolts will form indentations on the Starlink’s stub pole. This would be purely aesthetic (though you would only see them if you removed the Starlink anyway ! ) and does not affect the Starlink’s operation nor the stub poles strength.

Non UK orders ALWAYS incur a carriage surcharge.

Installation :

Tighten up the screws a turn and a quarter past “finger tight”.
Use of thread lock is always a godd idea, particularly for inaccessible installs.
