This is a heavy duty product (the thickness around the collar is 8mm) for installing a Starlink Mini on a pole.
The depth of the clamping collar is approx 57mm / 2.25″.
Manufactured in UV stabilised PETG, which has superior UV resistance to ABS etc (though the plate is on the underside of the Starlink and therefore shaded to some extent anyway !).
The fasteners are stainless steel and the nuts are Nyloc.
5 year guarantee : if this adapter fails within 5 years we will replace it for free (excluding the cost of the carriage).
With reference to the effect of UV on plastic, our pole mount is UV stabilised, but as the image above clearly shows it’s almost always in the shade, i.e. out of direct sunlight. Which, incidentally, is why it’s difficult to get a good picture of the pole mount in use!
Starlink’s own “sub optimal” pole adapter :
The Starlink adapter must be a tight fit on the dish to ensure it does not detach itself, thus it needs a firm push to slot it home.
To remove Starlink, push extractor tool fully in, then pull the tab (the section over the cable) backwards.
