M8 medium duty wall screws (50 & 75mm) and M10 nylon plugs (50mm & 80mm)
For customers not requiring the plugs (e.g. if installing in wood) just the M8 x 50mm screws are available separately.
Requires a 10mm hole on the masonry.
The 50mm fixing has a SWL of about 45Kg (in concrete) though they should actually take double that figure, the 75mm version`s SWL would be somewhat greater. The SWL in wood (just the screws, obviously….) is significantly greater.
The wall plugs are the better “collared” type and are recommended for solid masonry, but for bricks which have (or may have) voids in them we suggest universal plugs may be a better bet.
See article on wall anchors, and remember more wall anchors = a stronger install…..
Note that four anchors are required for a standard wall bracket and five (or more) for a pair of T & Ks.
For heavy duty fixings see sleeve anchors.
