We only sell the best cable, “Double Screened” (copper / copper) & CAI approved.
It is suitable for FM, DAB, TV and Satellite (6.7mm thick and 75 Ohm impedance).
Loss / 10m, FM = 0.6dB, DAB = 0.8dB, TV = 1.3 to 1.8dB (CH21 to CH68), SAT (1.2Ghz) = 2.2dB
The only choice you have to make is which colour you want, Black, Brown or White ?
See article on Cable, also Cable Clips A typical cable run (from the roof) is about 15m.
The cable is just as important as the aerial (and any amp or splitter, if fitted) in providing
a decent signal on your set. The cable should be changed as a matter of course if any
work is undertaken on the aerial, unless you are sure it is sound and of good quality.
For (up to) 15m of this cable the P&P is cheaper if you phone the order through !

Quality male to male “fly leads”, can be converted to Male to Female with a “Back
to Back” Co-
Note the crimped on plug (no weak solder joint here) and the RF chokes.
They are white in colour and available in 2m and 4m lengths. Bargain, I`ll have a dozen......
As with many small orders, the P&P for this item sent Royal Mail would only cost £3.50,
but the order must be phoned through. Minimum order value (including P&P) is £5.

Individually screened SCART cable
(i.e. double screened).
Our suppliers tell us that this grade of
SCART cable is suitable for up to 15m.
We thought we`d be on the safe side
so we only sell them up to 10m !
Obviously (as with any type of cable) the shorter any cable is, the lower the loss.
Thus we sell 1m, 3m 5m and 10m lengths.

Run out of spare SCART sockets on your TV ? Avoid the spurious interference which can be associated with permanently connected SCART junction boxes by using a manually selectable switchbox.
For this product (only) the P&P is cheaper if you phone
the order through !

Brass Co-
The shape of the “claw” insert is critical to whether it grips the cable well, or
just pulls off....... Incidentally it is bad practice to re-

The picture shows two types of F connector.
The one on the right is far superior, needless to say that`s the one we stock.
Note, F connectors (if required) are included with
any amp or splitter supplied by us.

“Back to Back” connectors (or couplers) are used
to convert a male plug (Co Ax or F connector) to a
female. They can also be used to join two leads together, see Cable Joining Kit.
We do not recommend Female Co Ax sockets (except right angle types) because the design of them is not conducive to reliability. Very few trade aerial suppliers sell them either, and that`s got to tell you something.

This consists of :
2 x F Connectors *
1 x F “Back to Back”
1 ft self amalgamating tape
* Note, we now supply
with this kit.
For this product the P&P is cheaper if you phone the
order through !
Right Angle Co-
The connector on the right is disassembled to show that it is screened !

Wall Screw (M8 x 50mm), Washer (M8 plated) and Plug (M10 x 50mm)
See article on Wall Anchors which includes the relative merits of “Rawlplug” type fixings against those of the “Rawlbolt” type.
Note, four anchors are required for a single wall bracket and five for a pair of T & Ks.
See our tests of aerial / satellite poles including these wall fixings

Cable Clips in White, Brown or Black.
These 7mm clips “grip” the cable well so you don`t have to hold them whilst you hammer in the nail. Thus saving your fingers from the possibility of making acquaintance
with the hammer......
The nail is hardened and zinc plated.
We use them so they must be good.

Hole Covers / Blow Out Covers in Brown or White (design may vary).
Hole Tidy / Wall Grommet, semi opaque to blend
in with your decor but it is also paintable if required.
Internal diameter of hole is 8mm.
Requires a 10mm hole in the wall.

We sell “Self Amalgamating Tape” (which sticks to itself when the backing is removed)
for sealing outside joints or the F connector on an LNB.
We also stock “Insulation Tape” for, well, just about anything. The latter is nice and sticky, perfect for taping the cable to the side of the pole, amongst other things, but not for
sealing outside joints. Not unless you`re name is Bertie (as in Bodger).
The insulation tape is 0.12mm thick, 19mm wide, and flame retardant. BS60454

We can make up cables for you using any combination of the following :
Co-
Co-
Right Angle Co-
Right Angle Co-
F connectors ( = male)
F connector “Back to Backs” (converts male to a female)
We recommend that you phone the order through, and we may be able to send it
Royal Mail which is cheaper on the P & P.
Alternatively, if it`s straight forward, you can just order all the components Online,
then add the £2 per end fee to attach the plugs. It may be worth using the Contact Us form to confirm exactly what is required if there is any room for confusion !
For example a 10m lead, right angle Co-
( = male Co-
£5.50 (10 x £0.55) + £1.00 + £0.75 + £0.75 + £4.00 (2 x £2.00) + P&P

We don`t really recommend surface plates, particularly budget types. But if you have no
choice but to use one, try to ensure it`s screened (as in those above) and that the cable is
not kinked. Route the cable like the one above left, and not like the one above right......
One way TV outlet surface plate, non-
Two way TV + FM/DAB diplexed surface outlet plate. The unit is isolated on the FM leg only,
i.e. it will pass 12V to a Mast Head amp, but on the TV leg only.
As can be seen from the picture (above right) it is screened and the rear junction box requires
22mm clearance. See the article on Surface Plates and Diplexers.
Note this is a diplexed surface plate (one in to two out) and the right hand input is not used.
Three way TV + FM/DAB + Satellite triplexed surface outlet plate.
The unit is isolated on the TV and FM/DAB legs (i.e. It will not pass 12V to a Mast Head amp on
the TV or FM leg) but it will obviously pass the LNB voltage on the satellite leg !
As can be seen from the picture (above right) it is screened and the rear junction box requires
22mm clearance. See article on Surface Plates and Diplexers.
Note this is a diplexed surface plate (one in to three out) and the right hand input is not used.

It is obviously preferable to use a single length of SCART cable but where this is not possible we stock SCART “Back to Backs”, i.e. Female to Female.

F connector to Co Ax adapters are available as :
Male Co Ax to female F connector or Female Co Ax to male F connector

they are the “Back to Backs” (above) !
